The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is a coach training and certification program for all coaches in more than 60 sports.
Under the new system, coaches can receive training in one or more streams.
- Community Sport Stream
- Competition Stream
- Instruction Stream (not available at this time)
In order to determine which stream you should receive training in, ask yourself the following: Who am I coaching?
If your answer is children, youth and/or adults at a community level who are getting started in the sport, acquiring basic skills and playing racquetball 1-2 times per week then consider taking certification in the Community Sport Stream.
If your answer is competitive racquetball players who are competing at a provincial and/or national level then consider the Competition Stream.
For many coaches, the answer will be both. In this case, please consider taking the Community Racquetball Course and the Introduction to Competition Course.
